The Directorate of Higher Education,HimachalPradesh has assigned the responsibility of imparting IT Education and Training to the students of Senior Secondary and Secondary schools ofHimachalPradesh. In this regard MOU was signed between Directorate of Higher Education,HimachalPradesh and NIELIT, Shimla on 9th Feb 2016 for the period from October-2015 to March-2016 to provide the IT teachers for imparting IT Education and Training to students. Accordingly In very short span of time, NIELIT Shimla has got Contract acceptance letter signed from more than 1300 IT faculties deployed in 1131 Government schools of HP. This is for the information to all IT Teachers under H.P School Project, that the validity of MoU signed between Directorate of Higher Education [DHE] Shimla and NIELIT Shimla has been extended for one year w.e.f 01-07-2018.

It is the matter of pleasure that Government of Himachal Pradesh has enhance the remuneration of IT Faculties deployed through NIELIT vide letter no.:-EDN-HE(14)1/2013-NIELIT(Faculty)-Vol-II. details given here:
a. Service less than 5 years - Rs. 10000/- (CTC) per month |
b. Service 5-10 years - Rs. 12500/- (CTC) per month |
c. Service more than 10 years - Rs. 15000/- (CTC) per month |
