The Hurtt twins’ mother, Kimberly Hurtt, was tragically killed in a car accident in July of 2019. She was driving on Highway 20 near her home in Moses Lake, Washington when another vehicle crossed the center line and collided with hers head-on. Emergency responders who arrived at the scene were unable to save her life and she passed away shortly after arriving at Harborview Medical Center.
The driver of the other vehicle also died as a result of the collision. Her death has left an immense void in the lives of her beloved children–twin boys aged twelve–as well as their father Richard, who is struggling to come to terms with his loss and find ways for them all to cope together.
